Happy Spring! My name is Lisa Dobbs, your go-to local State Farm Insurance Agent in Atlanta, GA. As a native Atlantan with over 34 years of State Farm Insurance experience, I have truly been able to help people understand the risks of everyday life, to show how insurance can shield them from those risks, and to guide them to what options will fit their needs. I have built long standing relationships in our community, and I stay active in Buckhead and Vinings through my involvement with the Vinings Business Association, the Vinings Cumberland Rotary Club, the Atlanta Track Club, and as a translator and English teacher with La Amistad's ESL program. I also mentor with the Bankhead Boys Association. My dog Pearl and I volunteer at Northside Hospital with Happy Tails Pet Therapy, and I have sponsored the Vinings Downhill 5K - Run for the Kids for 25 + years.

Although my office is in the Vinings neighborhood of Atlanta, GA, I also serve my good neighbors in NC, specifically Highlands, Cashiers, and the surrounding areas of western NC. We focus on auto, home, condo, life and health, business insurance, and even pet insurance. Whether you are buying a new car, boat, renting your first condo or apartment, moving into your dream home, or finally taking that leap of faith and starting your own business, my State Farm team and I are here for all of life's biggest moments.

I am an entrepreneur at heart. I always find a way to make it happen, and I never give up. When I'm not working in the office, I focus on my business or work with my parents who also have their own businesses.

I like spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I have also started to learn how to cook as and I am beginning to take on gardening.

I have a 7-pound black chihuahua named Zeus. I have begun teaching him basic sign language commands such as sit, lay down, water, and food. He is 4 years old, and I also co-parent with my sister who has his brother Licorice whose less than 4 pounds whom I also trained!
